Minimax GO Direct is a wholly owned division of Minimax Express Transportation Inc.

Minimax Express Transportation began operating on February 11, 1991 as a small LTL carrier, in Cornwall, Ontario, with three trucks and ten pup trailers. The Poirier family (Paul, Yves and Marc) started the company, and continues to play an active role in managing the business. The organization has grown to include 5 terminals, 125 power units and over 200 trailers throughout Ontario and Quebec.

The phenomenal growth did not just happen; we believe it is because of our people. Minimax has some of the most dedicated and experienced employees in the industry. As a family-owned and operated business our philosophy has been to treat everyone with dignity and respect. This is why some of our staff have been with us for close to 30 years.

In 2018, the company opened Minimax Global Solutions, a division to provide transportation solutions throughout Canada and around the world.

In 2020, Minimax GO Direct, the latest division of Minimax,  was created. An asset-based carrier, its mandate is to provide expedite deliveries and dedicated transportation services.
